Where did we come up with certain words.
Dead weight, meaning it is heavier than if it was moving.
Hmm, You stabb them and I'll slab them, is this the person who came up with Dead Weight?
Dead Head, meaning the end of the road for a train.
I can't even think how this one came into effect?

But lets go ask the dead people and see how grateful they are?

How did a number become, save your ass I just hit into you? and if you are going to say a number why not use TWO? Four has more fanitics and you can yell TWO louder?
